A commercial office fit-out is the process of making an interior space suitable for occupation. It typically falls into two categories:
Cat A Fit-Out
A Category A fit-out is the landlord’s responsibility. It provides the basic infrastructure that brings a building shell to a lettable standard — raised access flooring, suspended ceilings with integrated lighting and air handling, mechanical and electrical services, finished lift lobbies and common areas, and fire protection systems.
Cat B Fit-Out
A Category B fit-out is the tenant’s transformation. This is where a generic floor plate becomes your unique workplace — partitioning to create offices and meeting rooms, flooring to define zones, furniture, kitchen and breakout areas, branding and graphics, and IT and AV infrastructure.
Dilapidations
